Admissions Overview

Miraj Islamic School welcomes applications from prospective students of all backgrounds who are interested in experiencing our unique educational environment. Below is an overview of our admissions process to guide you through your child's journey to becoming a student at Miraj Islamic School.


Application Process:

  1. Submit an application: The enrollment window for new students opens each Spring and applications are accepted online or in person at our school office.

  2. Gather supporting documents: The following documents must be submitted along with the application in order for it to be considered complete.
    • Birth certificate
    • Child's most recent report card
    • Copy of immunization record

  3. Pay the registration fee: A $200 non-refundable registration fee applies to all new applications.

  4. Schedule and complete an entrance exam: All incoming students are required to take an entrance exam in Mathematics, English, and Arabic. Please contact the admissions office to schedule your child's exam.

  5. Meeting with the Principal (Grades 6 and above): Students entering grades 6 and above will have the opportunity to meet with the principal to discuss their academic goals and aspirations.

 

Admissions Decisions:
We review each application carefully, considering a variety of factors including the child's academic performance, potential for success in our program, and alignment with our school community. Decisions are communicated to parents following the completion of all required steps listed above.

While enrollment is limited each year, we continue to accept students on a rolling basis until classes reach capacity.
